This was very good, but it was a little more difficult than some of the other recipes I have used. I wasn't able to get my custard to be smooth, so our Milk Tart ended up lumpy, but this is most likely my lack of experience than your recipe :). It was still very good, and my South African boyfriend approve so it worked out just fine. Thank you very much.

This is a great dessert...just sweet enough to be good, but not too sweet for DD who has to live on a diabetic diet. I made as directed, but took a shortcut and used a bought crust...I am crust challenged!!!! Also just used a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar for the top to keep down on the sweet. A keeper for sure.

This is a very comforting dessert, nicely flavored with vanilla and almond, and the melted sugar on top made this pretty. My 5 year old helped me make this, so the crust ended up being pressed onto the pan instead of rolled; it seemed to work just fine. I'm planning to half this recipe next time and try a tart pan, as I think the amount of crust would be right for that. I enjoyed this; thank you!
