Sourdough Pancakes

ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
directions
- The night before, Mix 2 cups flour and the 2 cups of milk.
- Keep in microwave or a cool dark place covered over night.
- Next morning add and mix together eggs, baking soda, salt, baking powder,sugar and corn oil.
- Let set for 1 hour
- Cook on griddle.

Great recipe and resulted in light fluffy pancakes. I did change it a bit, instead of making the starter, used my own left over sourdough starter and worked like a charm, though I think next time I'd not let it sit for the whole hour, thinking with my strong starter 30 minutes would have been enough. It was easy and a real hit here at my house.

An interesting way of making sourdough pancakes, & it definitely works! Not something that can be whipped up at the last minute, but the flavor it nicely satisfying! Topped mine with a light corn syrup (which I do enjoy) while my other half had 'em with some pure maple syrup! Thanks for posting your recipe!
