This is the only bread I've made where the comment from DH was "damn fine bread". I think that really says it all :) This had a slightly sweet flavor, and beautiful texture. I used the dough cycle on my bread machine, let it rest for about 5 minutes, then formed 2 baguette shaped loaves which rose for nearly an hour. Then I baked at 400F for about 18 minutes.

This made a very nice Sourdough Bread. I only used the bread machine for the dough cycle then separated the dough into ball to make hamburger buns. I have a great starter, Paula's Failproof SD Starter, so they rose in about 40 minutes. Popped them in the oven at 400 degrees, basted with a little butter the last 5 minutes and they were ready in 23 minutes. They had a nice crust and chewy on the inside. The shape of the rolls were not great but made for a nice burger tonight for my family. Thanks NovaLee Updating my previous review. I did have to add about 5 tablespoons of extra water to this mixture
