I wanted a tangy Tzatziki sauce, but didn't have any plain yogurt on hand. This recipe is made with sour cream instead of plain yogurt, and tastes WONDERFUL!
- 3⁄4 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon dill (I used dried)
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- sea salt
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Pretty good. The four stars is because it turned out a little too runny for my tastes. This may be because I used reduced fat sour cream, though. It's quick, easy and really tasty! Definitely a keeper!
Very tasty recipe and a big hit with falafels! I cut back on the raw garlic for the second batch and added some salt and pepper and a bit more lemon juice. Love this recipe!
Made this tonight in a pinch. Used full fat sour cream, and added an extra clove of garlic. Total keeper. Super easy to make and tastes delicious!
