1. Made this for a Christmas dinner side- the onion soup mix was overwhelming and very salty. I would not make this recipe again.

 2. I made this recipe last night and it was a huge hit. I made in on the spur of he moment and didn't have mushrooms so I added a few more onion slices. I also eliminated the bread crumbs and topped it with more shredded cheese. I thought the onion soup mix was the perfect seasoning. Good flavor and was not salty like another reviewer stated. This recipe will be add to my regular rotation list.

 3. Hi Jules211, this was a great way to prepare green beans! I added 1 onion (as we like the taste), increased the amt of mushrooms and added a clove of garlic - don't you just hate people who do that to your recipe? Anyhow, I mixed the onion dip and sour cream before I sauteed the onion mixture, this way it would give the flavors a chance to marry. I used a combination of Parmesan and Gruyere cheese and they turned out fantastic! They were creamy and just wonderful. Thank you for posting, Diane :=)

I'm a working mom of 2 my son is 14 and my daughter is 11. O.K. 3 kids if you count my hubby. My son is on the picky side but loves food with a kick. My daughter will eat anything(yes even sauerkraut) the only thing hubby won't eat is raw cabbage he's getting better thanks to this site (he even ask me to make slaw). I love to cook and try new things. One of our favorite stations is food network.I've been playing around with pics and updated my pic & my icon. O.k. Tim because well just because i love to cook with the Cd player or radio blasting and i love his stuff. The Dancing Bears because my DH and i are (were) huge dead heads. I have to update the kids pictures or they would be back there again.
