The flavors were great. This dish was almost too easy to prepare! I used pinto beans with jalapeƱo which added a little more spice. We enjoyed this dish very much. It will definately be made again. Thanks for sharing.

Great flavors. Easy and the kids liked it. Any dish that I can get the picky ones to eat easily rates 5 stars. Thanks for posting this one, it goes into my "repretoire".

This is from Better Homes and Garden's Casserole Recipes cookbook; my grandma gave it to me years ago and it's the only recipe in it that I've ever made more than once (I've made it dozens of times). I use hot chili beans instead of the pinto beans, and use much more cheese and Fritos than written. For my family (DH and two boys) I always double it and it generally gives us one hearty dinner and a snack for my kids.

This was absolutely delicious. Quick & easy, and both me & my husband loved it. I replaced the pintos with black beans, and the Fritos with tortilla chips. Yum!

Yummy! I used fresh onion instead of dried minced onion and browned it with the meat. It looks very pretty with the corn chips around the edges and the sour cream and cheese in the middle. I sprinkled chopped green onions on top for some extra color. Great kid-pleaser! Thanx for sharing!

Fantastic meal! I used Fritos and the only change I made was to use onion powder instead of onion to please my picky eaters. Although this recipe says it serves 10 -12, the 6 of us gobbled it almost gone, with one serving for my DH for lunch the next day. He says it was really good reheated too!

We've liked this for a few years now. Very good, easy and cheap! I put it in the crockpot and it came out fine. A little brown around the edges but still delicious. Thanks for posting.

Mine turned out a little soupier than I anticipated, but everyone loved it... even the fussy 6 year old!

I made this recipe of yours a long time ago. The first time I made it I thought it was perfect football food. My husband and I love this. I made it for last year's Super Bowl and it was a big hit.

My mom uses this exact same recipe all the time, so I can testify to the deliciousness of this recipe. The only difference is that we add an extra 1/2 cup cheddar cheese on top.

A beauty of a recipe! I asked for recommendations at 'recipe requests' for what to do w/ground beef that needed to be used, Neta recommended this recipe(you Zaarians are great)This really hit the spot. I used black beans instead of pinto and topped w/taco sauce. We enjoyed ours by serving w/additional corn chips to dip into the chili bake. Thanks Miss Diggy-hope you are spoiling your new baby right to pieces!

Sorry for the delay in reviewing this. We had it a few nights ago for supper, and it was a success! It was even better the next day re-heated with some extra chips thrown on top for the crunch.
