This bread is wonderful just out of the bread machine, in sandwiches or just toasted.
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 3⁄4 cup sour cream
- 3 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons yeast
- In the bowl of your bread machine add the ingredients in the order they are listed.
- Make sure that the yeast does not touch the water.
- Set the bread machine on bread cycle.
My whole family loved it!!!!!! I had sour cream that was a few days past the date and unopened plus a new container in the fridge and didn't want to waste it so I searched for a recipe and found this! So glad we did! I put it in as a 2lbs loaf and light crust on basic cycle! We devoured it at dinner. Thank you we will make again!
This recipe worked with light sour cream, and I added 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup raisins. Yum!
