This turned out perfect! A definite keeper.
Quick and Easy and very good! Was surprised to see that no cinnamon was used in this recipe. I used three extremely ripe bananas. My mixture seemed a little thin so I increased the flour slightly..just by eye. I also topped the loaf off (before baking) with Oats and Brown Sugar. Yum!! Very good! I will use this again with my modifications!
This is a lovely bread to have with a cup of coffee, tea or a nice glass of cold milk! Very tasty and oh, so moist! Be ready for the compliments to come your way when you try this bread! I think the sour cream makes the difference! Thanks for sharing, Charishma!
Delicious recipe. I made it this morning, and the 4 year old little girl I babysit for helped me we had a great time. We doubled it and made one regular loaf and 4 mini loaves. The regular loaf baked for 1 hour and 15 min. The mini loves baked for 45 minutes. They all turned out wonderful. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thanks for posting:>
Best banana bread recipe ever.
Excellent banana bread. It was wonderful tasting. Light and fluffy. We made muffins this morning and added 1/3 semi sweet chocolate chips to the recipe instead of nuts. I also omitted the eggs. I will make this again and again! Thank you.
Awesome recipe! I keep trying different ones and now I'm stopping. I love nuts, but didn't have any, so I HAD to make it without; it was reeeaaal tough eating it minus the nuts!
I had 3 over-ripe bananas I couldn't bear to toss out so I headed to Zaar and found this recipe. I left out the nuts, but everything else was on hand and the banana bread turned out to be moist, and delicious and easy to make. My 2-1/2 year old twin granddaughters LOVE this stuff, as does everyone else who has tasted it so far!
I swapped white sugar for brown (just for the heck of it) and I really wish I had one more banana hanging around (which would have brought me to 4 total), but it was wonderful, moist, and super hearty. Great recipe!
