I was desperately searching for a good substitute for sour cream, but I didn't just didn't have the ingredients for it. With some good luck and extensive research, I came up with this variation which I think is, close enough to the 'real deal'.
- Let the cheese soften at room temperature. Mix it with the milk and lemon juice. Serve it with your favourite food.
- *For lighter version you can use skim milk and low-fat cream-cheese.
- *If you can lessen or change the lemon juice with white distilled vinegar to taste, if found too sour.
