Sour Cherry Soup

"This soup is great for summer! It can also be used as a sauce to go with roast chicken, turkey or pork, but you need to eliminate the water for that."

ingredients

• 473.18-709.77 ml morello cherries in syrup
• 4.92-9.85 ml sugar
• 1 lemon, juice of
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 500 ml water
• 300 ml thickened cream
• 236.59 ml sour cream
• 4.92 ml cornflour

directions

1. Combine Morello Cherries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and water and boil.
2. When boiled, educe heat to a simmer.
3. Combine thickened cream, sour cream and corn flour and add to soup through a sieve.
4. Cook for a further minute or two until soup thickens.
5. Serve chilled.
