  1. I went to my boyfriend's for lunch on my lunch hour from work and being the non cook that he is ;he didn't have much in his fridge or pantry. I remembered looking at your recipe and decided to try it. Of course he had to run to the store to go get the soup and the noodles. I left out the oregano couldn't remember how much water to add but I winged it. It turned out really well. I liked the taste combination of the tomatoes and the soup mix. This was a really simple, fast and delicious meal. Next time I'll add the oregano and I'm sure it will taste ever better.

  2. We are in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel. I have had to be very creative cooking on a hot plate and the bbq! This was great I made it in my electric skillet. Did add a little more parmesan, than it called for. Made quite a lot so sent it to work with my husband and he said it was even better the next day.

  4. A very good recipe for goulash! I followed exactly. Rhonda, thank you for your post!

  5. Good and easy, the only thing I didnt do was add the noodles to the mince, simply because DH wanted to have savoury mince in the fridge to have in pita bread, so I did the noodles separately. Otherwise I'm a huge fan of one-dish meals!!! I added sliced mushrooms and celery, simply to up the veggie content. Very good recipe, thank you, Rhonda

  1. This turned out better than I was expecting for such a simple dish! My family enjoyed it. I did make some changes though. I only used a 14.5 oz can of tomatoes, and I didn't notice until I was dumping them in the pan, but they were the kind with diced peppers in them. To compensate, I used cilantro instead of oregano and cheddar cheese instead of parmesan and mozzarella. Next time I will pay better attention and prepare as written (though I will probably stick with the smaller size can of tomatoes)!

  2. Very flavorable, more so than I anticipated. Instead of diced tomatoes I used crushed tomatoes with roasted garlic. Thank You!

About me....well...let's see, right now I am a married, stay-at-home Mom to two beautiful children, a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son....they are the "lights" of my life, which I think I pretty much spent waiting for them! I feel so very lucky (and truly blessed) to be their "Mommy". I don't know that I have a fave cookbook, (and I have rarely opened one of the many I have, since finding Zaar.) I just LOVE recipes and have been "acquiring" them since I was a teenager! Actually I think I bought my first cookbook in like grade two or three, a cookie recipe book from one of those scholastic book orders!
