This is to DIE for! I used boneless skinless chicken breast strips and served it over rice cooked in chicken broth. I went to put the cheese on top only to find someone ate most of it, I had enough for only half. So I tried seasoned buttered bread crumbs on the other half placed on the casserole the last 10 minutes. I couldn't decide which half I liked best. This is most definitely going to be served often here! Thanks Annelies for the scrumptious recipe!

This is wonderful, and easy to prepare. I used turkey tenderloins, but remained true to the recipe, and it turned out great! Not a bit left after dinner. I served it with rice(soaks up the juices - yum!) and some frozen sweet corn. A great meal. Thanks - I will be making this again.

Thanks for a Souper-Delicious supper tonight, Pets! : ) I prepared as directed only using a small onion and one clove garlic. The pork was nicely tender and flavorful! I served with buttered noodles and everyone enjoyed their meal so much! Thanks for sharing!!

Yep, another 5 star rating. There's nothing to criticize about this recipe. I made it as is with pork chops and parmesan.

This was great. As I am a new cook, my husband is my greatest critic. He said this was without a doubt a keeper

This was a GREAT recipe. Easy to prepare and very tasty. I used pork chops that were about 3/4" thick so I cooked it a little longer (about 1 hour) Got a big thumbs up from my son who asked if we could have it again tomorrow.

Great comfort food. We really enjoyed this, and it was so easy to prepare. I made it with four center cut boneless pork chops. They gravy was so yummy, and the chops came out fork tender. Will definitely be making this again & will try it with chicken also. Made for the 2010 Livestrong Cookathon for Pets R Us.

Really good! It was very easy, so not much effort for a filling, yummy weeknight dinner. There's a lot of gravy, so make mashed potatoes! :)

wow..awesome, wasn't expecting something so simple to be this good. I followed the recipe but used cream of mushroom soup. So good on a cold winter day!

The Longmeadow Farm and crew absolutely loved this souped up recipe. I picked chicken, to soup up. I gently browned the chicken drumsticks, and thighs. I followed this exactly not changing anything, except one thing. I added lima beans in with the mushrooms, because we STILL have an abundance of fresh lima beans. Other then that, this crew chowed down until there was nothing left but the sides of the casserole dish. I guess one little difference is I put in 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese mixing it until slightly melted with the soup mixture, and put the rest of the cheese on top. You have a winner here, Pets ~ will make this often at the farm.

This was delicious. Next time I make it I will try cream of mushroom soup or maybe cheese soup. I made steamed broc and (since I had some leftover mashed potatos from the night before) potato pancakes #31061. Thanks for a great tasting and versatile recipe.

A good recipe - very moist. I wasn't too crazy about the taste - I used the celery soup and parmesan. The pork chops were moist though and the preparation was very simple, I'll just try a different soup next time and perhaps no cheese.
