Directions

  1. In saucepan cook onion in hot oil tender but not brown.
  2. Stir in chicken broth, rice, tomato puree, salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
  5. Stir in frozen peas, covered, 5 minutes longer.
  6. Makes 4 servings.
