Hmmm Karen, you sound like your from a certain place that I use to spend my teenage yrs, till I moved back to Portugal.( T.Bay Ont) As for your lovely receipe, here in Portugal we have one very similar to this one, but instead of using sugar we use honey, and in place of peanuts we use pinenuts most of the people here do this receipe around the holidays. Its very rich (my personal opinion) but very very good. Great receipe.

This is very good, I make this every year during Easter, and I replce the peanuts for Pecans, but this recipe is wonderful.
