      3 out of 3 say 5 stars here!!!! YAY! With my picky crew, that's perfect! I used quick cooking barley instead of rice and added some peas and carrots to it as well. My son hates celery, but didn't even mention it in this soup! Thank you SOOOO much! I made this again with leftover turkey from a 20lb bird and it is every bit as good as the first time. You could put this receipe as a good soup for leftover Thanksgiving turkey. I also skimmed the fat off of the turkey drippings and used that for a broth.

      Delicious! I took the advice of Kim1, as I had chicken thighs to use as well. I couldn't believe I was actually out of Cream of 'Shroom, so subbed in w/ Cream of Chix. I'll definitely make this again and again. Thanks for posting!

      Delicious soup and I was impressed with how easy it was to make. Makes a lot but I froze the left-overs. Great flavor and I served it with homemade bread and a side salad. Thanks, will make this one again.

      Wow 5 Stars allt he way. I made this today. What I did was take a large can of chicken brooth added 2 more cans of water then I added 6 uncooked chicken thights. I cooked them on a slow simmer for 30 minutes. While they were cooking I added the salt,Pepper,Poultry Seasoning. After the 30 minutes of cooking I turned off the soup. Removed the chicken and let it cool so I could debone it. I then added the chicken,calery,carrots,canned soup,onion soup mix,.Simmer it a little while longer.
