My daughter has been sick for a while and this recipe caught my eye. I love when a homemade recipe can have such practical results. She loved the flavor and also enjoyed the warmth. It felt good on her throat. She also has chronic digestive issues, and I know that ginger can help soothe that too. Thanks for posting!

This is very effective. I did not have pineapple juice on hand and I'm not drinking any processed juices, just the natural ones, but its not easy to get them all the time, so I tried this with just honey and ginger. It worked miraculously and I got well with this treatment. I took it twice. Ofcourse, with rest and lots of water also. After taking this, it is recommended not to drink water for atleast 45 minutes. I followed this as well. A SUPER GOOD treatment this is.

This was welcome relief for the lingering cough I've had for weeks now. And it was so pleasant tasting, too. The ginger and honey together was particularly good. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Rita.

This concoction was so easy to make. The fact that it soothed my cough (bronchitis) and that it tasted good was a real plus. I followed your recipe to a "T" including the sitting back under a blanket and sipping it while I relaxed. I'm going to make another one for tonight. Thanks, Rita! Made for Jan. 2010 Photo Tag.
