It's nice with crushed peppercorns or powdered ginger, this is how my Somalian inlaws drink it :)

I love somalian tea, I trink it very often, but never tried it with nutmeg. But it sounds nice, I'll try it. Somalian tea is really delicious, especially for cosy evenings at home.

I LOVE nutmeg...this tea is delicious. I have a 4c pot & added 1TB sugar per cup & will cut back next time. It didn't get very dark. Thank you!

Every since my brother gave me a cup of this Somalian tea from his family's restaurant, I've been
hook every since. So I asked him to give me the recipe, however I can't get it to taste like the restaurant. This is a everyday tea.

I`ve made teas like this before but not Somalian tea. I do wish amounts for water, milk and sugar was posted! First look at the nutritional facts will through you off when making this. I tried it without sugar But it did need a sweetener so I added honey my choice. I steeped with fresh ginger and peppercorns. This is very close to chai. Which does mean tea!

This is a delicious dark, spicey blend! I followed MelissaJJ's suggestion and added a couple black peppercorns, which I feel is a really nice addition. This does benefit from a fairly generous addition of sugar. Very warming and rejuvenating. I felt that I had to take off a star becaue I would really like to see a guideline for the amount of water to use- I used 2 cups, but a teapot can be anywhere from 1 cup to 10 cups and this will have a huge effect on the end result. Thanks for a nice tea, Missy.
