Jim made these for my birthday, and they were fantastic....and totally not "diet".

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together. Add molasses, eggs, and vanilla - beating well. Mix in flour, oats, baking powder, and baking soda - mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
