I made these for the Pick Your Chef Cookathon today. These are BEAUTIFUL! I chose to make these as muffins instead of cookies and they've come out wonderful. I baked these at 200C for 22 minutes. I'm so glad I picked you for my Chef;) Thanks for posting this recipe.

We really enjoyed these. They are very light and cake-like. Very chocolately. I'm also going to make these sometime as muffins or a cake.

I made these today and my kids said they are very good. My husband likes them too because they are very soft. They were easy to make and baked up nicely. Thank you Zenith!

Delicious! I made mine as mini-muffins, and baked them for about 20 minutes as well. (I made 15 of these for a practice at school, by the time the last person got there the muffins were already gone!)

We did not care for these cookies. I followed the directions exactly and they turned out dry and a bit crumbly, reminding me of those old low fat Snackwells cookies. I rated as a 2 because they were edible, and may have tasted better with frosting, but I hate frosting cookies. Going back to our favorite chocolate cookie recipe.

My mom used to make these all the time when I was little & I wanted to make them for my boyfriend. Unfortunately, I couldn't find her recipe, but I knew that someone on Recipezaar would have it. Thank you so much for posting it! BTW, my boyfriend says these are awesome cookies :)

Delicious! When I saw words like, "cakelike", "soft" & "puffy"... I just knew I had to try them. They turned out just as described! I chose not to frost them but instead, I sifted some powdered sugar on each one and added a few raspberries when serving. They were a big hit!

I believe this recipe is the best! It was incredibly helpful and all the cookies turned out very well. All the cookies were soft, puffy, and cake-like. I know I'm very picky when it comes to recipes so I must say that this recipe won't ever let you down!

I thought this cookie was extremely good.I am a cake fan and I found that this cookie was very cake like.It was so light and feathery inside.Next time I make these cookies I am going to add Hershey's butterscotch chips.

These were a nice alternative to a brownie. I made mine and added Swedish pearl sugar on half of them to give them some visual appeal without deflating them. Baking them on parchment also allowed them to come off the cookie sheet easily.

This chocolate cookie was exactly what I was looking for ... a "chocolate" cookie without chocolate chips. They are soft, light and perfect. Next I'll try them as little muffins maybe with some peanut butter frosting.

If you know what you want, these are perfect. Very light, not at all like typical chewy or crisp cookies. I made them plain but would recommend frosting since they're so cake-like that it just seems natural. (My college foodservice contractor uses chocolate cake cookies in their black-and-whites; I'd thank them to use this recipe instead!)
