Great cookie, but we like it a richer flavor. I think next time I may use 1 cup butter and drop the shortening.
Awesome cookies! Made no changes to your recipe and they came out perfect! The best part was how easy the cookie dough was to make. This is definately a keeper in my recipe book! Thank you for sharing. :)
Good cookie...followed the directions to the letter. However they did not remain soft and chewy after cooling. I'll give this recipe another try....
Used M&M's instead of chocolate chips. The cookies were perfect. Thanks for sharing.
A little too sweet and artificial tasting for my family but every last one still got eaten!
Very good. Great texture. I used sugar free vanilla pudding to cut the calories...came out great! I would add a bit of salt as suggested by others, though. Thanks for sharing!
These cookies were amazing. I ate about 10 of them as soon as they were cool enough to eat. Can't wait to try them with banana pudding mix next time. Also, I ended up with about 50 cookies instenad of 36 so I guess I made them a little smaller, but they were still perfect.
When I brought these to my son's baseball game, I heard, "These are the best cookies in the world," more than once. Great texture and easy to work with. Definitely my new staple cookie recipe! Thanks!
LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! I've been looking for a real choc. chip cookie that wasn't wimpy and that wasn't filled with freaky tastes. This is a classic cookie. Thank you!
These cookies are AMAZING!!! So soft and chewy and the best taste also! I have made them w/ pistachio pudding and choc. chips and almonds, vanilla pudding and choc. chips, choc. pudding and pb chips!!! I also made them using 1/2 Whole wheat flour and they come out good as well!!! This is a weekly recipe in my house now but the cookies only last a day or 2!!!
