I used rice krispies for the first batch, and Corn Flakes for the second batch...LOVED it with corn flakes!!!!!
A great tasting, simple recipe. I whipped up a batch of these to put on my Christmas cookie tray and they fit in perfectly. I loved that they didn't harden like they usually do. Thanks!
Pretty good recipe! I tend to make the treats horrible. For the first time they came out, yummy!! I didn't have rice krispies so I used special k.
These had a good flavor, but a bit too sticky for my taste and too much marshmallow on the bottom after cooling. I think I'll add more cereal next time.
My little girl LOVED these. She asked me to make her rice crispy treats and since everyone was raving about your recipe, I thought I'd give it a try. Boy, I'm glad I did. She thought they were great. I put red and green sprinkles on top for the holidays and they look preety cute. Thanks, wyojess, this will be my recipe from now on.
Yep, these treats stayed soft and chewy. I forgot how much I love Rice Krispies.
This is great! The only thing that I changed was that I used Golden Grahams instead of Rice Krispies. My family loves it! thanks.
This is my Go-To recipe for rice krispie treats. Always come out chewy! I usually add a tsp. of maple syrup to my batch for an added splash of sugary goodness. The syrup also seems to eliminate some of cereal sticking to the pan.
Yummy, easy, and only makes one pan dirty! What could be better?
