Yummy! Used to sell these to raise money for the Humane Society. They are soft and sweet. They taste like the ginger cookies at Starbucks except better. My grandmother's recipe.

I've baked these cookies half a dozen times now and they are always a huge hit at work. People rave about how flavorful they are. I love how they are slightly crispy on the outside once cooled but have a soft and tender center. Best ginger cookies EVER! 5 Snaps up! ?

  1. Mix, chill, roll into small balls.
  2. Roll in sugar, place on very lightly greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 325°F until brown, about 18 minutes.
