I got this super easy cream cheese cake icing recipe from my best friend, Brandy, when I had made a cake & forgot to purchase icing. I'll never buy premade cream cheese icing again! It's yummy & sooo easy to make. You can also use fat free cream cheese, to cut calories & fat, still tastes good.
- Set Cream Cheese out to soften.
- In Large mixing bowl, add powdered sugar and cream cheese.
- Mix with mixer until smooth.
- Spread evenly over cake.
This was super easy and really yummy! I needed a buttercream frosting but didn't have enough butter for the recipe...so I made this one instead! It was more than enough to ice 18 cupcakes. Next time I might add a tablespoon or two of cream or milk to make it just a tad thinner...Just to make it stretch a little more! Good recipe :)
