      I bought snowman goodies bags last winter at the post Christmas/holiday sales. This was a great way to use them. I gave them to my classes and my daughter gave them to her classmates as well. We used full size candy canes so the kids could actually stir the cocoa with the candy cane. This has become a tradition. I make them every year!

      Our first grade teacher at school always passes this out to her student's at Christmas. It is a big treat. Instead of using Hershey Kisses, she she uses just regular chocolate chips. She wraps the chocolate chips and the marshmallows in little plastic wrap and then ties with a ribbon. She prints the "Snowman Soup" saying on cardstock and it has a snowman at the top and some snowflakes on it and then staples it over the ziploc bag.

      This is a favorite tradition in our home! On the first snowfall that stays, this is always made. Perfect for a special treat on a snowy day or for a quick holiday gifts.

      Excellent recipe! I used homemade hot chocolate ( Mom's Hot Chocolate Mix ) and holiday marshmellows (stars & Christmas tree shapes) and packaged in snack-sized ziploc bags. Then packaged 8 individual bags into qt sized bag along w/ the instructions and shipped to my grandsons. They rec'd the package yesterday and they were so excited. Thanks for a great idea for something special for the holidays!

      Just made a batch of this with my kids tonight! They thought it was delicious, and my 6 year old in particular had fun making up bags with the ingredients to give away!! My son said, "I think it's better than 5 stars; I think it's as good as 500 stars!" :) Thanks for a fun, kid-friendly recipe!

      I made this with my Cub Scout den and they had a blast with it! They made one for themselves and one as a gift. They couldn't wait to drink them! Fast and easy! A real kid pleaser!
