    Annacia's Note:

This is a simple veggie dish that goes well with almost anything. It looks nice enough for company or a holiday dinner. Fresh snow peas are the preference but frozen will work well too. 10 mins prep time is for frozen peas, fresh will take a bit longer.

I'm trying to include more veggies in my life so this one seemed perfect for me. And I love water chestnuts. I had to try it. It's so easy to do. I let it cook almost 15 minutes while I was doing many more things. I gave it a stir sometimes. I didn't add salt and pepper. I liked it that way. Very healthy and yummy. Thanks Annacia :) Made for Newest zaar tag

Very good! I use cooking spray instead of butter, I've made it with water chestnuts (good) and chopped baby corn (really good!). It has a really fresh taste without tasting fresh from the garden. A great way to use my garden's abundance of snow peas. Thank you!

How refreshing to find a snow pea recipe that is not swimming in sesame oil! I loved the freshness of this recipe, how it brings out the natural taste of the snow peas with its perfect balance of seasonings. Had the peas on hand, but no water chestnuts. No matter, they were delicious without! Pairs well with most meats and, because of the flavors, is not limited to Chinese (which I love by the way). I use just a smidgeon of Brummel and Brown in lieu of the butter. Thanks!
