One of my husband's favorite vegetables is snow peas. This is a quick and easy stir fry. It is also delicious made with peanuts.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. In nonstick skillet, cook sesame seeds over medium-high heat, stirring, until lightly toasted, 1-2 minutes.
  2. Remove from skillet.
  3. In same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add ginger, garlic and pepper; cook 30 seconds.
  5. Add snow peas and juice; bring to a boil.
  6. Cook, stirring often, until snow peas are just tender, 3-4 minutes.
  7. Toss with cashews; sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Wonderful, easy to prepare dish. The ginger and orange juice added a bright flavor to the dish, and the toasted seeds and salted cashews added a great crunch. Thanks for sharing!

VERY, VERY NICE ~ The peas, OJ & cashews are a great combo, & the addition of fresh ginger & garlic (I used 2 cloves) really made this a special side dish! Thanks for the keeper recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in the current Comfort Cafe as part of my theme, Peas, Please!]
