Love, Love, Love the sneaky chef additions to this. I usually do some kind of veggies additions but have never used the white puree - not sure why. This was a tasty sauce. The only change I made was to finely chop some kale and add to it. Oh and a pound of turkey burger when served with angel hair pasta.

  1. Place the oil in a deep saucepan over medium heat.Cook the onions and garlic until slightly translucent but not brown. Stir occansionally.
  2. Mix in the orange and white puree, tomatoes, and tomato paste and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minuttes until sauce thickens. Move the sauce to a blender and puree in batches, or use an immersion blender inserted directly in the pot to puree sauce.

  4. Pink Sauce Variation:.
