      Made this last night for dinner and I must say it tastes very similar to my FIL recipe witht he addition of the cola. The cola gave it a bit of a sweet taste but it also tenderized the meat so it cut with a fork. I really enjoyed this comfort food. I haven't had a good cube steak in years and as we got a 1/2 a cow just before summer this is a great recipe to keep on hand to use to make the cube steaks and a few other less tender cuts of meat. Served this with Cute Pacific Cod With Baby Roastie Potatoes- from the Farm

      Loved the cola in this recipe and it tenderized the steak. Very delicious - the whole family gave it 2 thumbs way up. Great comfort food. I served it over a split baked potato. Made for ZWT 7.

      I wanted to give this recipe a five star rating before they were ever done and now that we've consumed it, I wish I could give it a rating higher than five! I've never had good luck using round steak to make swiss steak so I was a little skeptical to use the cube steak, but they came out wonderful and were fork tender. The addition of cola makes for a slightly sweet sauce. Will definitely make this recipe again. Thanks for posting this Breezer! Made for 123 Hits.

      The description is dead on target. The meat comes out fork tender. I used a mix of green and orange peppers but other than that went right bu the recipe. This will be a family pleaser for sure :D. Made for Photo Tag.
