These are AMAAAAZING!! I made them last minute for company and despite them being warm out of the oven and falling apart they were a big hit. However, the next day they were soooo good! They firmed up into a true "bar" texture and got this gloriously chewy texture. Mom and I fought over the last piece. Try these!! But I recommend making the day before! Soo yummy, thanks!
I made this for the 4th of July. Everone raved abot them! I have to "give" the recipe to several of my friends. I guess it's going to become an annual thing!
These were absolutely delicious and super easy to make! I substituted the candy bars for 1 1/2 cups of Hershey's milk chocolate chips. I will make these again and again! Thank you CoffeeMom!
These bars were described as "delectable" and "very yummy" from my first tasters. Everyone gave them thumbs up. Super easy and a nice change from cookies! These are like campfire smores without the crumbling cracker mess. Only change I made was replacing the Hershey bars with one bag of Nestle's Chocolate chunks (what I had on hand). Will make again. Thanks.
Oh my! These are heaven. I actually think they are better warm from the oven. Perfection. I used some semi sweet chocolate chips instead of bars and didn't measure the marshmallows, but don't think I used quite 3 cups. My 5 year old was so excited. ;)
These were easy to make and were well received by the people eating them. I would make these again, thanks!
Good, but there is room for improvement. We all felt the graham cracker taste needed to be more prominent. Maybe adding some additional larger "crumbs" to the top layer would help. We also felt the baking powder taste was too strong. I would recommend using half baking powder and half baking soda. Tasty, but definitely not a replacement for real s'mores for us.
These turned out good and everyone seemed to like them. They seemed a little on the dry side to me, but perhaps I over baked them a bit.
a complete success! i am in germany and could not find graham crackers in time (apparently they are out there in some american speciality stores) and so i used wheat germ instead with crushed up thin waffle type cookies on top. i also had less flour so just added more wheat germ. OMG! to die for! every one loved them and 95% of the crowd were from different countries and had no idea of what they ought to taste like. but they also did not know how easy they were to make and kept asking me for the recipe. next time, i will make them with actual graham crackers. tyvm!
AWESOME! These get rave reviews every time!
