"This is my 'original' easy recipe. Sweet and smoky and oh so simple to make. Not for the dieter but great for a 'special' cook out or potluck."

  1. Made these for Father's Day and enjoyed them. I might add bacon next time, but otherwise they were very flavorful and would make again.

  2. Good beans. Like others.........I think bacon would be a great addition. Thanks for sharing this nice recipe.

  3. Very good! This is similar to how my mom makes them (but adds bacon). This has the perfect amount of sweet and smoky. Will make these again! Made for Spring PAC 2013.

  4. So easy to prepare and tasted great. That said I missed the bacon and will add that next time. I had part of a green pepper and added that only because I needed to use it. Great flavor combo. Really enjoyed the liquid smoke addition. Thanks so much for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2011
