It's amazing how good something so simple can be. I laid out the crescent rolls, cut them into strips. I got probably four smokies into each crescent.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (8 ounce) package crescent rolls
  • 1 lb Little Smokies sausage
  • 14 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Directions

  1. Combine melted butter and prepared mustard. Stir until mustard is blended into the butter.
  2. Unwrap package of rolls; carefully separate dough into 8 pieces. Brush each piece with some of butter and mustard mixture.
  3. Place 1 Smokie on each dough piece; roll dough around sausage, being sure to start rolling on wide end of dough.
  4. Place rolled sausage on ungreased baking sheet, placing exposed seam on the bottom.
  5. Brush tops of dough with remaining butter and mustard mixture.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 15 minutes.
