Great rub. I used it on a skirt steak that I broiled and it came out really good. I especially like the addition of coriander and the nice kick from the different peppers. Thank you.

My husband and I use this as our staple "GO TO" spice mix now! We have been experimenting with it for over 2 months and LOVE every combo we have used it in! Our favorite though is to add it to ground beef when we make burgers and they turn out better than any resturant we have available! That being said we dont have ANY good ones here! lol But it's nice to know we can use this as an alternative to paying $10 per person for a decent burger! We succesfully used it in meatloaf and on steaks too. My only word of causion... USE SPARINGLY! It's got a little bit of kick to it but it just WAY over powers (it's... potent :) if you use too much! I can smell it in the living room when my husband opens the container lol ALSO we use 1/2 paprika instead of the extra spiciness of chili powder to help keep it kid friendly :) ALL 3 of my children enjoy this too which makes it even better! lol

I do, indeed, usually have all of these ingredients in the house. I threw it together at the last minute for some steaks that my husband was grilling. There is a little bit of a "kick" to this seasoning, but not overwhelming.

Another one for my holiday gift baskets. Everyone loved it last year and has been asking for it again. I just finished bottling it up and it smells soooo good!

This was nice rub for steak. I used it on delmonico cut. My one complaint is the cumin, which I felt seemed to overpower the other seasonings. For next time will omit or cut out alltogether. Otherwise, was a nicely balanced seasoning. Hmmm, a vegetarian posting a steak rub??? Glad you did.

Excellent on filet mignon! Can't wait to try it on shrimp. I like to grind the whole spices with a mortar and pestle for a more rustic flavor.

This was one of the best steak rubs i have tried i marinated it for 5 hours and brought to room temperature and drizzles with extra virgin olive oil bbqed it on my indoor grill and popped it in the oven to finish off. it came out soooo tebder and the juices from the syeak and the rub yummmmmy.thanks for posting. This would also be good for staek cubes for chili.
