  • 12 slices pumpernickel bread (cocktail-size)
  • smoked salmon

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise with hard-cooked egg, gherkins, and chopped scallion or chives.
  2. Spread on pumpernickel slices.
  3. Top each with a small piece of smoked salmon.
