  1. DH and I have this as a standard camping snack when we don't want to cook lunch. Occasionally we will change the cheese to a smoked gouda to make the flavor even smokier. Yummy!

  2. Fabulously flavoursome and SO, so easy to prepare so ideal for occasions when you need to take some food to share as they can be assembled on the spot in a couple of minutes - so that the biscuits are still crisp! :) Oh the joys of canned oysters! I took these to a morning tea at work, and made some with cheddar and some with cream cheese to which I'd added some minced garlic. Garlic fiends just cannot resist adding garlic. ;) Both delicious but the oysters stuck so much better on the cream cheese. I added the optional lemon juice, a great addition. A wonderful blend of flavours! These disappeared SO quickly! Solution: next time I make even more! Thanks so much for this recipe, Wildflour! Made for Ali Baba's Babes for ZWT 5.

  3. Delicious appetizers :) So simple. It was better with 2 smoked oysters on top. Cause it was a little bit dry. But maybe the lemon juice would help. I'll try next time :) Thanks Kelly. Made for Bevy tag

  4. This is such a simple and easy appy to prepare. I used a combination of crackers for this. It looked good and gave different tastes and textures. I precut the cheese so It was very simple to assemble. The plate was cleaned. Thanks for the recipe peacefulnightdove

  5. Oysters and sharp cheddar cheese... hmmm... guess what? It works! Served mine on Triscuits... I always have some in the pantry. Cheese, oysters and triscuits with a glass of iced vodka... that is how Potsie likes to spend a late afternoon.
