My son in law and I are the only Brussels sprout lovers and we both thought this was great. Others who don't like spouts tried it and liked it too. The smoked Gouda is key.

Even the non-brussels-sprouts-eaters ate this one! Loved it!

OMG this is so yummy. I loved the taste of the smoked gouda in the sauce. I used 1/2 lb fresh brussels sprouts and 1/2 lb fresh broccoli. I used only half and half. Maybe next time I'll omit the sugar. I don't see why it's necessary. The little sweet taste bothered me a little bit. I omitted the last step with butter and breadcrumbs. Thanks Parsley :) Made for the Zwizzle Chicks of ZWT

WOW...This was really good in a way that was unexpected. I am always looking for new ways to use brussel sprouts, as I do not particularly like them, but my kids do. (go figure !?!?!) Thank You

My husband loves Brussels sprouts, I can think of yummier vegetables to eat!! But I thought having the cheese would make it tastier for me. It was great. I really liked the sauce mixture. I did use the half and half instead of the heavy cream, and I did not add salt or sugar. I will defiantly be making this dish again. Thanks for the recipe!

Okay I loved this for a couple reasons: 1. I love brussle sprouts and this was just the most decadent way to serve them. We had a friend over for dinner who said he didn't like brussle sprouts and he ate fully 1/3 of the dish. 2.The sauce is amazing and I've been thinking about all of the other vegetables that I could serve just like this like asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower...the list is endless. Thanks so much for sharing!!ZWT3

Great recipe. I couldn't find smoked gouda so I used extra aged gouda and I used half-and-half just to cut down on the fat and calories where I could cause I was serving it with a very high fat/high cal chicken dish as well. Very tasty and very easy to make. It was a lovely side for our dinner. Thanks for sharing.

This was very tasty and a fun new way to serve brussels sprouts. Definitely better with smoked gouda. I left out the sugar. Will be serving this again come Winter.

So very good!!! Satisfies your desire for rich and cheesy and you get brussels sprouts too!!! I think next time I'll cut them in half so the cheesy goodness can get into the inner nooks and crannies!! Thanks Parsley!!
