A great simple recipe for really tasty taters. DH loves potatoes like this at a local steakhouse and was very pleased to find them on his plate at home. I put about a teaspoon of minced garlic in with the potatoes as they boiled, then mashed them together, and I used light sour cream. I served this with recipe #51955 and will make in the future with other main dishes.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 453.59 g red potatoes, small,skin on
  • 36.97 ml sour cream
  • 59.16 ml butter
  • 118.29 ml milk
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes in half and boil until soft.
  2. Drain and return to the same pot.
  3. Briefly mash until just broken up.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and toss.
  5. Serve warm.
