1. This was so easy and very good! Loved the thyme in this. Instead of celery seeds I used a bit of minced celery, and I also made this on the stovetop, simmering (covered) for about an hour in all. Made for a lovely dinner, thank you for sharing!

 2. This was very good! Mine was more like a chicken soup than a stew. I did not have onions, so could not use any. Also used baby carrots. I also omitted the mushrooms. The only thing I did not like was the fat that I had to keep skimming off the top. Any suggestions for that? Other than that, it was a great soup, and even better the next day! Will def. make again!

 3. The flavor was really good, but I should have used more chicken broth - lacked a little bit of umf!

 4. This was easy, fast and tasty. I had only bouillon in my pantry, and it ended up more like a soup. But the seasonings were perfect! I didn't defrost my chicken, so therefore put in whole chicken breasts, then cut them up after they cooked. It worked well. Thanks, Audrey!

 5. This was surprisingly awesome! No onions but threw in 2 quartered shallots and 3 smashed garlic cloves. Everything else was exactly to the recipe. Cooked on high for 4 1/2 hours and the house smelled yummy. Served with crusty bread and went back for seconds! :-D

I am a mother of three and live in central Pennsylvania. My children were very active in after school activities and found we weren't spending anytime together at meal time. In 1998, I decided to start cooking my dinners in a crockpot so that we could have a home cooked meal together once everyone came home. My children now get so excited to see what we are having to eat and love the smell when they walk in the door. My family calls me the crock pot queen. LOL I use my crock pot everyday of the year.

My three children are now in college and before they come home they request their favorite meal. I still continue to cook in the crock pot for my husband and I. It is nice after a long day to know your meal is ready. It also helps in keeping my grocery bill down. With zaar, I can print my shopping list and that is all I purchase is the ingredients on that list.

Now, my two daughters have been crock pot cooking while in college. They find it is easy to cook for the themselves and their friends. It is an easy way to have friends over for dinner after classes

I still love trying new recipes and purchasing cookbooks, especially crock pot cookbooks.

Happy Cooking!
