This was so easy and very good! Loved the thyme in this. Instead of celery seeds I used a bit of minced celery, and I also made this on the stovetop, simmering (covered) for about an hour in all. Made for a lovely dinner, thank you for sharing!
This was very good! Mine was more like a chicken soup than a stew. I did not have onions, so could not use any. Also used baby carrots. I also omitted the mushrooms. The only thing I did not like was the fat that I had to keep skimming off the top. Any suggestions for that? Other than that, it was a great soup, and even better the next day! Will def. make again!
The flavor was really good, but I should have used more chicken broth - lacked a little bit of umf!
This was easy, fast and tasty. I had only bouillon in my pantry, and it ended up more like a soup. But the seasonings were perfect! I didn't defrost my chicken, so therefore put in whole chicken breasts, then cut them up after they cooked. It worked well. Thanks, Audrey!
This was surprisingly awesome! No onions but threw in 2 quartered shallots and 3 smashed garlic cloves. Everything else was exactly to the recipe. Cooked on high for 4 1/2 hours and the house smelled yummy. Served with crusty bread and went back for seconds! :-D
I was a bit concerned this might be bland, but it wasn't at all. Great flavor and very satisfying-Dh asked for seconds. I made half the recipe and cooked it 5 hours on high in the crock pot. Didn't and wouldn't change a thing.
