awesome taste...and easy peasy. If you are a fan of pork that is MOIST and pork au jus that just plain tastes great, this recipe is a keeper. Go over to thepioneerwoman.com website and add her crash hot potatoes to your menu plus a veggie of your choice and you have one heckuva dinner. It's our Valentine's dinner tonight...
This was a really great, easy pork recipe. I am always looking for a way to make moist pork. I made it with a side of baked beans and brown rice. My family loved it.
This is what I needed. I had two hungry men and a pork tenderloin. I made this just as the Dr. ordered and it was perfect. The 13 year-old had three large portions, and hubby had two. The Aus Jus was totally delightful. This is definitely a keeper.
My husband thought this was good but I thought the onion soup mix was over powering and the smell from the slow cooker grew annoyingly sweet toward the end. I guess I should have known better but I wasn't looking for gourmet I was looking for easy, tasty, satisfying for a cold winter day. I won't be making this again. Sorry! I generally don't leave bad reviews but I want to warn others. I wish I had prepared my tenderloin differently. :( I did throw in some carrots and cut up potatoes when there was about an hour left on the time. That made for a quick/easy complete meal but I just didn't like the end result.
Two of my 14-month-old triplets wouldn't eat this, but that means nothing. Three out of five in my family loved this recipe. It was so simple to throw in the slow cooker, and it tasted delicious, so we'll definitely be having it again. I threw a couple of chopped potatoes in during the last 45 minutes. Thank you!
THE PORK CAME OUT BOMB!! X-mas Eve dinner... I'm definitely making it again soon! Cheers and THANK YOU!
The whole family loved it. Even my pickiest eater asked for seconds!
This was easy and really good. I was surprised that a lean cut like pork loin could become so tender! I cooked it in my rice cooker (from Costco) that had a slow cooker button on it, and started it on high for an hour, then low for 3 hours. We served it over boiled potatoes with butter. <br/>Nice flavor.
It was against my better judgement to put a pork tenderloin in the slow cooker & to use dried onion soup . After reading the raves I thought I would give it a try. I followed the directions to a tee. The meat was tuff, the gravy SALTY, SALTY, & MORE SALT. In was awful & anyone who thinks this taste good need their head examined !! It was awful, don't waste a pork loin in a slow cooker & the combo of dried onion soup, soy sauce & wine did nothing for the dish.
Don't waste your time (or tenderloin). This was really bad. I threw most of this away.
