Used apple juice instead of cider. Very tasty! My only complaint is that I just didn't get that caramel taste. Perhaps a shot of barista strength caramel syrup would have helped with that.
I've made this over and over, I use slightly less cloves as per my tastes.
This is great! I have never had Starbucks cider, so can't compare it, but since I can make this at home, I'll never have to spend big bucks at Starbucks:) Made for tag game at kittencalskitchen.com.
Oh so good! I quartered the recipe and really enjoyed the concentrated and so nice and sweet drink. Good all the way around! Made for Australian Recipe Swap-Jan. 2010.
Ahhh The aroma! Lovely! We did use liqueur. I made it in a crock pot and simmered for 3 hours before we enjoyed it! Thank you!
The kids really enjoyed this. The scent it gave my house was incredible. Thanks for posting. Made for 123 hit wonders Dec
Wow, Coffeebarista another wonderful drink. I love hot cider and this one is so yummy that I can't stop drinking it, help. The house smelled incredible all day while the cider simmered. The flavors all blended together beautifully to creat a very tasty treat. The orange, vanilla and spices makes this hot cider very special. Thanks so much for sharing.
