  1. We like this very much. Though it was a bit sweet. Made for bev tag.

  2. This made the house smell great and tasted even better. I did cut the sugar in half, though, and may delete it all together next time, as our cider is plenty sweet already. Helped take the gloom off a dull, dreary day!

  3. I made half a recipe for a small 1 qt. crockpot. My husband said it was "too strong" and my teen daughter said it "tastes like medicine." I also thought it had a very strong, bitter after taste. We love plain hot apple cider,so I may try this again with a substantial reduction in the spices.

I am the mother of two beautiful boys. I love to bake and cook which has helped me to become very overweight. I have lost 50 pounds this past year and have been learning to cook "lighter". We still enjoy many of the same dishes we used to. However, I have learned portion control and how to make suttle changes to my recipes that don't affect the flavor.
