This was easy and good. I did change it a little just because I used what I had on hand. In place of the tomato juice I used Spicy Bloody Mary Mix. Since the mix already had sugar and worchestershire, I cut back on the brown sugar, not sure how much, but I will probably only use 1/3 cup to start and then taste. I only used the 1/4 cup of Soy. I will add some pepper flakes for a little heat next time too. I cooked it for 6 hours on low and the chicken turned out nice and tender. I did not thicken the sauce.I made rice cooked in chicken stock, served the rice with chicken on top and sauce poured over all. I served it with acorn squash seasoned with just butter, S&P. I don't know that the sesame seeds (I toasted) did much for the dish. If you don't have them I wouldn't worry about it. Or just sprinkle them over the individual servings.

Easy and good. I make ahead and we eat it during the week. I lessened the sugar to 1/2 cup and it was fine. Also, I did 1 1/2 x recipe for a large slow cooker and all was well.

This was very easy to make and was really tasty. We ate it with egg noodles. We used extra garlic and added a bit of fresh ginger to give it a little different flavor. Our chicken was a little dry so next time we plan to use chicken thighs, cook it a little less time, or use larger bone in chicken breasts

We really enjoyed this, I used tomato puree in place of tomato juice and I also put in 1/2 tspn of sesame oil, and halved the sesame seeds. I don't like alot of garlic so I put in 1 tbspn instead. I served it with rice and some steamed veg, I didn't feel it needed thicking. I will make this again :)

This was okay and the sauce was delicious over rice. Made as directed except I used vegetable broth in place of the chicken broth (out of). Thanks for sharing!

This was quite good! I used Sucanat for the brown sugar and it didn't seem to mix into the sauce. I might try honey instead. I used Bragg's amino acids and for one of the 2 T of soy sauce, I used sesame oil.

Very good sauce. I used the extra sauce to coat the steamed vegetables and rice, and my husband absolutely loved it over the broccoli. Will make again.
