      Delicious! My boyfriend is french and is kinda picky with food. Especially slow cooker recipes. I made this for him and he loveedddddd it. I added some vegetables that were leftover from Thanksgiving along with cooked Turkey instead of the chicken. The dumplings were the traditional kind which were PERFECT. He kept wanting me to pick out the dumplings for him. Delicious. Definitely making again!

      Really great comfort food. Family ate nearly the whole thing in one sitting. Added a bag of baby carrots for a one pot meal. Will be making this again without a doubt.

      Fantastic recipe, very flexible. We made it by the recipe the first time and have since added some variety - substituted one can of cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken and added a package of frozen veggies one hour before adding the dumplings, etc.

      Awesome recipe!!! It is so easy and my family loves it. I use whatever cream of ... soups that I have; one is usually some type of cream of chicken. I add two 12-ounce bags of mixed frozen vegetables as well as the onion. I use canned chicken and put it in just before I put the biscuits in. Using canned chicken, I only cook it 3 1/2 to 4 hours total on high. Easy comfort food.

      This was a great recipe, however my hubby put my bone in skinless chicken breast in a brine for about 5 hours, and dummy me didn't rinse them I just patted them dry. So needless to say the diish was VERY salty, even for me cuz I love salt ,I turned it into " Chicken and Dumpling Soup" so it wasn't a total loss. I will make it again, but without the screw up, I was really impressed the way the dumplings turned out, I flatten them and tore them in small pieces, and also added celery , onions, carrots and peas. I think I will make then again after Thanksgiving , using turkey. Everyone ha a GREAT Thanksgiving!
