Best beef recipe ever - great for company or not!
As soon as my son walked in the house he wanted to know what smelled soooo good. I used a vegetable bouillon cube as that was all I had on hand. I drizzled a bit of the juices over the meat platter and made gravy with the rest. Yum! It doesn't get any easier than this. Thx Swiz58

This is so good! I cook it on high for three and a half hours in my slow cooker and it makes the most wonderful gravy!!! I didn't have soy sauce last time I made it so I used Kecap Manis which is now how I will make this recipe from now on!!!
I like the simplicity of this recipe. I put it in the crockpot fat side down and will turn it over in about 4-6 hours. I'll come back later to finish my review. I'm back. We had this at noon today and the broth from this is so good! I sliced the meat then poured some of the broth over it to serve. I have refrigerated the leftovers so we can eat tomorrow. I will throw out the cold grease on top before I reheat the meat and broth. Thank you for posting. I made this for the Spring PAC game 2007.
I truly think this is the beef from heaven. My mom makes it quite a bit and there's never leftover's after a few days!
Never used a recipe for a crokpot roast...always just threw it in the pot with onions, seasoning salt and water. Now this is my 'go to' recipe whenever I make a roast and my DH ravews about it every time!
