  • Place beef cubes, onion, diced potatoes, sliced carrots, sauerkraut and diced tomatoes in the slowcooker; mix around.
  • Pour all remaining ingredients over top.
  • Cover slowcooker and cook on low for about 7 hours.
  • Remove bay leaf, stir well and then serve.

  1. This was not good. There is little I won’t eat, but this made that list. Imagine potatoes and carrots cooked in sauerkraut brine— that’s what it is, and what it tastes like. Yuck!
     
  2. One of my favorite deli's makes a sauerkraut soup and I love it. This was different than theirs but delicious.
     
  3. I don't know how to describe this, but it is very good. I just added more pepper and a little salt. Made for ZWT 6.
