This was so good, and so very easy too. I never thought of squeezing water out of cucumbers, I will try this in a couple other of my cuke dishes as well. This is very much a throw together dish, but no one would know from the results. We have lots of fresh cucumbers right now, and this was a refreshing change from the usual recipes I use. Definatley a keeper! Thanks for a great new summer recipe!
I grew up on that stuff, so I know a good cucumber salad (mizeria is what we call it) when I see or taste one. The addition of the garlic is what makes it stand out. Thank you.

Recipe is excellent, if you follow directions as provided. I have used it several times with my abundant cucumber crop...and have also adapted the recipe to include smoked paprika...dill...and a bit of sugar. All variations have been delicious. Thanks for sharing!
I loved this recipe. I used English cucumbers and scraped the centers out...crunchy little half moons of cucumber and red onion...delicious!

This was an excellent salad. Loved the addition of garlic for even more flavor. I used white vinegar because I enjoy a tangy salad and also added onions.
