- 1814.36 g beef, round roast
- 9.85 ml salt
- 4.92 ml allspice
- 2.46 ml pepper
- 44.37 ml butter
- 44.37 ml brandy
- 236.59 ml beef broth
- 2 large onions, Sliced
- 2 medium bay leaves
- 29.58 ml white vinegar
- 29.58 ml molasses
- parsley, chopped
directions
- Rub meat with salt, allspice and pepper.
- Saute in butter until brown on all sides.
- Pour in brandy and ignite.
- Add beef broth, onions, bay leaves, vinegar and molasses.
- Stir well, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
- Slice beef, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.

For myself I found the gravy sweeter than I personally prefer but I knew that I would and it's just me . I just put a *small* bit of the gravy on mine and that was fine :D. DH had a big second helping of roast and gravy. It's really quick to get into the pot and then it's just slow cooking time. Speaking of which, this could very easily be done in a slow cooker too. It's tender and tasty and I think pretty6 much everyone will enjoy this recipe. Made for ZWT 9.
