This is a good basic recipe. The brown sugar offered a sweetness that would surely please kids. There wasn't a lot of flavor but that would again be suited for most kids tastes. For our family, I browned it with a chopped onion, and added 1t garlic powder, and a bit of paprika, cayenne pepper, and ground mustard (in addition to the prepared mustard). I also added 1T more brown sugar while cooking because the tomato sauce seemed too acidic. But in the end it still didn't quite have the flavor we were looking for.
