Incredible! For the past two days my husband kept "hinting" that he really wanted sloppy joes. I do have a recipe, but it is rather involved. I searched through a lot here on Recipzaar and thought that yours look great....I was right. The only change...I just added less brown sugar. Thanks for a great one!

I tripled this recipe, didn't add all the brown sugar, added a heaping spoonfull of dill relish at the end, and only had seasoning salt and they were wonderful! I cooked a day ahead of time so they are sure to be even better! Thanks!

These wonderful sloppy joes have been a family favorite of ours for over ten years. They are quick, easy, taste great (try reducing the salt by half) and freeze well! The recipe can be found in Once-a-Month Cooking by Wilson & Lagerborg (1992)

This is an awesome homemade sloppy joe recipe! All my girls loved it. They love sloppy joes. I now have decided to stop making the canned version and keep this one. Thanks so much for a tasty, easy homemade version of this traditional sandwich, danlynclark
