DH and I have been doing the SB Diet since October so this is a great find for us! We really enjoyed it along with a tossed salad. I reduced the celery to one stalk and used about 6 oz of low fat cheese as that was all I had left in the house. The topping is a bit of a strange texture, something like an omelet on the top, but it tasted great. We will definitely repeat this one! I can see changing this up with different spices or maybe even adding a bit of taco seasoning just for fun. Thanks for posting!
Easy and yummy. I'm not doing south beach (so I used regular mayo, cheese, and cream), but wanted something different to do with my ground beef... this fit the bill. Thanks for posting it. :)
Easy to make on a weeknight. This had a slightly peculiar texture and taste due to the mayo, but we ate it without any major issue. Thanks.
Super, super, super super easy and very nice looking. I only did 3 things different- no celery, dry mustard b/c I had no other, and I used FF mayo. This was very very rich. I think that I'll serve it with something else next time just because a little goes a long way! Very good.
Oh soooo good!! Just finished eating this for dinner and was very pleased! I omitted celery as we're not a big fan of it in dishes, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I'm the only one on the SBD in the family, but it was thoroughly enjoyed by all with a salad on the side. Everyone asked for seconds. It definitely gave me some yummy flavors I have been missing since starting the diet.
We really enjoyed this, excellent combo of flavours and we loved the crust too. I didn't have fat free half-and-half so I substituted fat free sour cream. Worked great! Thanks for posting, I'll be making this again!
I made this for dinner tonight. I followed the recipe exactly using very lean ground beef and ff mayo. The faux crust was impressive, the overall tast was very delicious. The presentation was very nice. The only thing that I didn't care for was the celery (but I don't really like celery except in soup). I thought if I cut it small enough I wouldn't notice it. Although my husband and children didn't even notice....they loved it! I will make this again I will just leave out the celery. Thanks!!
Wow, we really loved this. I wasn't really looking for a low carb recipe, but this sounded interesting. I wasn't sure what the "crust" would be like, but it was great -- wouldn't change a thing. DH says it's a keeper and he already wants me to make it again. Thanks!
